RAMS: A Documentary Portrait of One of Design’s Biggest Icons
A film about Dieter Rams by Gary Hustwit.
If you don’t know documentary filmmaker Gary Hustwit, you should. The director and photographer has spent most of his career articulating the supreme importance of design in our world, through films like Helvetica, Objectified, and Urbanized.
On Monday, September 24, SVA Theatre is premiering Hustwit’s latest film RAMS, a documentary portrait of Dieter Rams –– one of industrial design’s biggest icons. We are proud to have worked on both the opening titles and an interstitial animated sequence in the film.
There will be two screenings of the documentary, presented in association with AIGA/NY, IDSA NY, and the Architecture & Design Festival. Each session will be followed by a Q&A with director Gary Hustwit and guests, including former Trollbäck Creative Director, Rosie Garschina.
We hope to see you there.
