Nine frames is a photography series produced by the Trollbäck staff. Each month, we assign a disposable camera to a single team member and ask them to capture their world. The idea is to show how different the world can look through the eyes of different people in this industry — designers, animators, strategists, filmmakers, and writers.
This week, Chief Creative Officer Alex Moulton shares an unexpected, in-camera exploration of Los Angeles street art.
“I found myself looking for colorful details and textures everywhere my travels took me during the week: Venice, Mar Vista, Hollywood, the TV backlot of 20th Century Fox. It was really fun to see the world through a plastic lens, which is just so different from a professional camera or my phone camera. There’s a lot of freedom in giving up some control of the image and just hoping you capture a good frame.”
