Kunskapskanalen is not only a tongue-twister, but also a Swedish educational and factual programming channel that extends its broadcast to Finland, Denmark and Åland.
Kunskapskanalen, a growing initiative between SVT and UR (Swedish Educational Broadcasting System), received the most dramatic overhaul of the 5-channel SVT rebranding initiative. While the logos for SVT1 and SVT2 only required a small adjustment that liberated them from a challenging color block, the logotype for Kunskapskanalen needed a full redesign. We created a brand new, K-shaped square and made it a central, active device in all navigation and promotion. An ever-present graphic element, the logo shape is a three dimensional window into new and fascinating worlds.
