Grey tasked us to help Canon inspire consumers to See Impossible. We developed and animated the multifaceted isometric "Exploded Box" logo to express the limitless possibilities offered by Canon's optics. The animation supports a global, multi-year campaign set to shift the focus onto the creative spirit of their people and customers.

The light within the borderless box represents the dedication Canon has to building new collaborative paths with Hollywood and independent filmmakers, medical diagnostics, self-publishers and businesses to constantly innovate and to challenge convention.

The logo is also the central hub of a microsite housing consumer, professional and commercial stories of inspiration and imagination.

Logo Development
We initially designed a Moibus strip inspired logo based on the Japanese concept of Kaizen "good change" and infinity. Some of our process is included here.
